Z.C.C. OFFERS THE BEST "FULLY ADJUSTABLE" T/C RODS FOR THE DATSUN 240Z-280Z AND 510. THIS DESIGN HAS BEEN RACE TESTED FOR MORE THAN 3 YR'S WITH NO FAILURES.

ATTRIBUTES:

THE T/C ROD-END MOUNT ELIMINATES THE CHANGES IN CASTER UNDER HARD CORNERING. NO MORE CRACKED BUSHINGS, OR DEFLECTIONS IN CASTER DUE TO BUSHING MOVEMENT. THE ROD-END GIVES THE T/C ROD A COMPLETELY NON-BINDING, SOLID MOUNT AS IT MOVES UP AND DOWN WITH THE ARTICULATION OF THE L.C.A. (LOWER CONTROL ARM ).

THE PIVOT "DOGLEG" TAKES INTO CONSIDERATIONS THE CHANGES IN GEOMETRY BETWEEN THE LCA ( LOWER CONTROL ARM ) AND THE T/C ROD WHEN CASTER IS CHANGED. THE O.E. T/C ROD AND L.C.A. ARE BOLTED TOGETHER AT A SET ANGLE. AS YOU PUSH THE L.C.A. FORWARD TO INCREASE CASTER, THAT FIXED ANGLE CHANGES. THIS PIVOT ALLOWS CHANGE WITHOUT CREATING ANY BINDING GIVING A FREE MOVING/NON-BINDING SYSTEM.

KEEPING THE PIVOT LOCATIONS AS CLOSE TO THE FACTORY POSITIONS IS VERY IMPORTANT. UNLIKE BUSHING/BRACKET MOUNTS, THE ROD-END MOUNT DESIGN TAKES THIS INTO CONSIDERATION. IN USING THE ROD-END MOUNT WE ARE ABLE TO KEEP THE PIVOT POINT AS CLOSE TO THE O.E. POSITION AS POSSIBLE. THIS KEEPS YOUR GEOMETRY WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE!

I have used Brians tension rods and lower control arms    on my 240z for about 3 years . They are strong and easy to adjust,with no suspension binding. I have done over 5000 competition KM's in tarmac rallys with no problems.......Jon Siddins, AU.
